OBJECTIVE #

Massey’s Mosquito Control Program reduces the mosquito population surrounding the treated property. Mosquito treatments are performed monthly. Depending on where you are located, treatments can be performed throughout the year or only during mosquito season, April-September.

Deluxe Package includes monthly residual treatments, recurring insect growth regulator applications, 1 biological control mechanism (Standard package), & 1 mosquito trapping device.

SERVICE PROTOCOL – DELUXE PACKAGE #

The Deluxe Package includes everything in the Standard Package PLUS the installation of at least one Dynatrap DT1050 that attracts mosquitos and small flying insects in a half-acre area. The Dynatrap needs to be plugged into a UL Listed, properly hard-wired outlet. It needs to be in the back yard off to the side, but in between the source of mosquitos and human activity without obstructing normal human pathways of activity. Read and follow the attached protocol:

INTRODUCTION to Dynatrap #

Dynamic Solutions have developed novel insect traps. They are called Dynatrap and were designed specifically to help reduce mosquitoes locally around a structure and have been found to also attract and capture other types of insects and flies. They are affordable with the following features:

• Operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• No expensive attractant or propane necessary

• Provides from 1/4 acre to a full acre of coverage depending on model.
• Easy to set up and quiet.

• A UV-emitting fluorescent bulb attracts flying insects.
• Produces CO2 which attracts mosquitoes from a reaction between sunlight and the titanium coating.
• Powerful but quiet fan draws nearby insects into a retaining cage where they dry out and die.
• Easy to maintain and clean monthly.
• Supplied with a 6–10-foot cord.

OUTDOOR DYNATRAP SERVICE PROTOCOLS: #

In our Deluxe Program, place 1 DT1050 half-acre Dynatrap in the back yard:

• A minimum of one DT1050 is placed in the back yard close enough to be hard wired between the source of adult mosquitos and the main human activity areas.
• If plugs must remain outdoors, we recommend a waterproof connection jacket at each extension cord connection.
• Outdoor models should be placed according to the area being covered in a spot that will draw the mosquitos away from the structure but still have access to an electrical (extension cord) and outlet.
• Fix or hang the trap on a DynaTrap hanger (42010 HOOK) about 3-6 feet above ground or attach on a bracket to a fence or wooden post.
• Initially, place in one new “Attracta Lure.”
• Service each DynaTrap by:
  • Cleaning out the capture basket
  • Replace the ATRAKTA Lure (100611) EVERY 60 DAYS by removing the old lure and replacing the new one inside the trap. It mimics natural odors that attract mosquitos.
  • Replace bulb every 90 days.

Other Dynatrap brand lights listed on the rate card are add-ons that can further aid in capturing mosquitos.
